Sandra M. Fabregas Troche is the executive director and co-founder of the Latino Center for Bioethics and Humanities (Centro Latino de Bioetica y Humanidades) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. From 1987 to 2010, she served on the faculty of the University of Puerto Rico School of Pharmacy, attaining the rank of professor. Her teaching and research interests include bioethics, health communication and the history and evolution of pharmacy. She has received various research honors for her work in bioethics and history of pharmacy from academic and professional organizations in the United States and Argentina.
