Request for Information on Urban Infrastructure Management/Urban Emergency Management

Dear DISASTER RESEARCHers,
I am a PhD student at the University of Magdeburg, Germany, and myresearch topics include the Management of Urban Infrastructure(streets, electricity, communication, public services, etc.;life-lines) and how this infrastructure can be managed in a effectiveand efficient way using GIS, simulation, or and other techniques, especially in cases of emergencies where the coordination ofresources, routing of traffic, evacuation etc. is necessary.

Beside the IDNDR Conference on Solution for Cities at Risk, I wouldlike to know who is already working in that field where all kinds ofdisaster types are considered, what experiences people have made withurban emergency management and what information is available(literature, internet resources, ...).

Thank you very much in advance!
