Special Publications

From time to time the Natural Hazards Center issues Special Publications - studies and analyses that do not fit into our other publications series, but which offer information of critical interest to the hazards community. The series includes conference proceedings and other important works that add to the body of knowledge on societal response to natural hazards.

The first 35 Special Publications were issued only in printed form and may be purchased from the Natural Hazards Center for $20.00. Except as noted, more recent publications are available free and on-line. For information on purchasing printed copies of Special Publications, visit our publications purchasing page.

Subsequent special publications are available on-line as well as in print, and may be downloaded and printed from this web site.

Indeed, the Hazards Center encourages their free distribution but requests that they not be sold for profit.
