Lisa Sun
Lisa Grow Sun graduated from Harvard Law School summa cum laude. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable J. Michael Luttig, United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and then for the Honorable Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, United States Supreme Court.
After her clerkships, Sun was a lecturer in law at Stanford Law School and spent two years in Beijing, China, where she taught as a visiting orofessor in the Temple/Tsinghua University Masters in Law Program.
Sun now teaches disaster law, constitutional law, administrative law, and torts at the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University. Her research centers on the intersection of law and natural disasters. She recently coauthored the definitive disaster law textbook, Disaster Law and Policy, with Dan Farber, Jim Chen, and Rob Verchick.
