Water Sector Resilience

Water and wastewater utilities have developed a number of innovative approaches to mitigate risk from both slow- and rapid-onset hazards and increase their overall resilience. The EPA's Climate Ready Water Utilities, the Water/Wastewater Agency Response Network (WARN), and the Utility Resilience Index will be among the programs and measures presented. The panel will consider the strengths and limitations of these sector-specific approaches, and how they might be inform or be better connected to broader resilience-building activities.
