Michael Hart
Since 1989, Michael J. Hart has been working as an independent consultant to the aggregate mining industry, specializing in the areas of resource management and environmental compliance with particular emphasis on permitting, water resources, land use planning, and wetlands regulation. He is the principal of Hart Environmental.
Before entering the consulting field, Hart worked for the Colorado-based Flatiron Companies. As vice-president of Flatiron Sand and Gravel Company, he worked in resource management, environmental compliance, public relations, and strategic planning. Mike has been actively involved in the National Aggregates Association, the National Stone Association, and the Colorado Stone, Sand & Gravel Association. He is past president of the Colorado Rock Products Association.
