Scott Miles
Scott Miles is an assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Studies at Western Washington University and director of the Resilience Institute. Miles received his PhD in geography from University of Washington, a post-graduate diploma from the University of Edinburgh in geographic information systems, and an MS in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He was a member of the U.S. Geological Survey Western Region Earthquake Hazards Team for six years.
