Community Planning and Climate Change Adaptation
Tues. 9:00-10:30 a.m., Interlocken A
We can no longer hide from the risks of climate change and extreme weather. Recently, more and more communities are trying to understand the economic and social impacts of these increased risks and create adaptation or mitigation plans. Unfortunately, many communities lack resources to initiate projects of this magnitude. This session will discuss pilot projects designed to help communities understand how to approach these risks and prepare for them.
