Resilience Indicators: Ready or Not

Tue. 9:00-10:30 a.m, Interlocken C

In the past year, a series of conversations has looked at the potential for the hazards and climate adaptation communities to develop shared lexicon and understanding of disasters. This session addresses that endeavor and acts as a springboard to take the conversation to the next level—the use and development of quantitative indicators and research at the intersections of the two fields. Specifically, the panel will explore established climate impact indicators, limitations of existing spatial and temporally scalable indicators, and future needs to assess changes.
