Christine Bevc is a research associate at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill with the North Carolina Institute for Public Health in the UNC Gillings School for Global Public Health. Currently, Bevc serves as the principal investigator for the Vulnerable and At-Risk Populations Resource Guide and lead analyst on the CDC funded, North Carolina Preparedness and Emergency Response Research Center (NCPERRC) examining accreditation systems and public health preparedness. Her work specializes in the application of social science research methods and social network analysis to improve organizational capacity, interorganizational relationships, and collaboration associated with preparedness, response, and mitigation. She completed her PhD in sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and MA in applied sociology from the University of Central Florida.
