Jessica Grannis is a staff attorney and adjunct professor at the Harrison Institute, at Georgetown University Law Center where she works with state and local governments to help them adapt to sea-level rise in coordination with the Georgetown Climate Center. Her recent publications include an Adaptation Tool Kit for Sea Level Rise (2012); Coastal Retreat Measures, and a book chapter on Coastal Retreat in the Law of Climate Change: U.S. and International Aspects (2012, with Peter Byrne). Prior to joining the Harrison Institute, she was staff counsel for the California State Coastal Conservancy and the Ocean Protection Council.
