Kenneth M. Anderson
Ken Anderson is a professor of computer science at the University of Colorado Boulder and the associate dean for education of CU’s College of Engineering and Applied Science. He is the co-director of Project EPIC, a $5M NSF-funded project that investigates topics related to crisis informatics and is also the co-director of CU’s Center for Software and Society. Anderson’s research interests include software engineering, software architecture, and the design of data-intensive software systems. He and his students have designed software systems that reliably collect, store, process, and analyze large social media datasets collected during times of mass emergency.
