Sappho Teague (they/them/theirs) is an undergraduate research assistant with the Natural Hazards Center, working closely with the team on clearinghouse activities. They are currently a junior majoring in neuroscience and psychology with a minor in MCDB (molecular, cellular, and developmental biology) at the University of Colorado Boulder (UC Boulder). After graduation, they hope to enter a psychology graduate program and learn more about neurodivergence. Outside of the Natural Hazards Center, Teague is the current secretary for Out in STEM at UC Boulder, a student organization focusing on helping LGBTQ+ students excel in STEM fields. In addition, Teague enjoys cooking, playing video games, and creative writing in their spare time.
