Improving Tools to Understand, Monitor, and Respond to Geologic Hazards

Listening Session
Sunday, June 14, 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. MDT
Location: Interlocken C

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) develops and deploys tools to prepare for a wide variety of geologic hazards, including landslides, earthquakes, floods, drought, and volcanic eruptions. These evidence-informed products have the potential to support risk reduction and public safety, but require input from applied researchers, practitioners, and other potential users to improve their long-term accessibility and effectiveness. This listening session invites attendees to test and provide feedback on a suite of USGS tools that are currently under development.
