Evidence-based solutions help those planning for disasters to better manage utilities, build sound infrastructure, and improve programs that serve affected communities. Not all disaster plans and programs, however, integrate evidence or evaluate outcomes. This panel will focus on lessons learned while incorporating such knowledge into programs, ways to understand and apply findings, and using assessments to increase understanding, equity, and better serve communities.
