Brenna Sweetman is a social scientist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Office for Coastal Management at the National Water Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Her work focuses on integrating social science to support sound decision-making to address coastal and water resource challenges with an emphasis on partnerships. In this role, she supports the NOAA Water Initiative and strives to better understand data, tools, and information needs. Sweetman holds a master’s in geography from the University of Alabama and a bachelor's in environmental studies and Spanish from the University of Pittsburgh.
