Margot Habets is a PhD candidate working with Susan Cutter to assess different methodologies for measuring community resilience using top-down and bottom-up approaches. She is a presidential fellow at the University of South Carolina and has published on a variety of topics related to hazards, social vulnerability, and community resilience.
