Zoë Linder-Baptie is a research project manager at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy's Environmental Analysis and Communications Group. She joined in September 2022 to support the Manitou Arts, Culture, and Heritage grant and lead stakeholder engagement in the Philadelphia, New Jers,ey and New York City regions, as well as to manage and support other ongoing environmental planning and policy projects. She graduated from the Bloustein School in 2018 with a Master of Public Policy and a Master of City and Regional Planning, both focused on coastal resilience. Prior to returning to Bloustein, Linder-Baptie was the assistant director of communication and Engagement at the Wharton Risk Management and Decision Processes Center, a project manager for the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority as well as a planner trainee for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Office of Coastal and Land Use Planning. Linder-Baptie credits her six years working in New Orleans, Louisiana after college for her understanding of the importance of public engagement and bridging the gap between science and policy. Linder-Baptie holds a BA in urban sociology and environmental studies from Hampshire College and lives in Philadelphia where she enjoys working on her new house, hiking in the Wissahickon and trying new food all around the city..
