Scott Knowles
Scott Gabriel Knowles is director of the Great Works Symposium and an assistant professor in the Department of History and Politics at Drexel University.
Knowles edited "Imagining Philadelphia: Edmund Bacon and the Future of the City, " which is due to be released in October 2009. He is is currently working on a book about the history of urban
disasters titled "Disaster City: A History of Risk and Authority in the
American Metropolis." He earned his PhD from Johns Hopkins University in 2003.
