Plenary: Multidisciplinary Perspective on the 2010 Haiti Earthquake

The January 12, 2010, Haiti earthquake was the most devastating disaster to strike the western hemisphere in recorded history. Proportional to the size of the nation’s population, it was also the deadliest disaster of modern times. It is too soon to tell how long it will take for households, businesses, communities, and the nation to recover from this catastrophe. Panelists for this session will include researchers who have engaged in quick response research in Haiti.
