Leonard David
Leonard David is a research associate with the Secure World Foundation, as well as a space journalist who has reported on space exploration for 45 years.
David has served as a consultant to the aerospace industry, NASA, and government agencies. He was director of research for the National Commission on Space and editor-in-chief of the National Space Society’s Ad Astra and Space World magazines.
His work has appeared on numerous Web sites and in newspapers, books, and magazines, including the Financial Times, Foreign Policy, Private Air, Sky and Telescope, and Astronomy. He is a regular contributor to SPACE.com, Space News, and Aerospace America, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics magazine. David also co-authored "Extreme Flight: Rocket Science," 2006, and "Chaos to Cosmos—A Space Odyssey," 2003. He has received awards for his writing from the Space Tourism Society, the National Space Society, and the Royal Aeronautical Society.
