Christine Bevc is a research associate at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill with the UNC Center for Public Health Preparedness at the North Carolina Institute for Public Health in the UNC Gillings School for Global Public Health. Currently, Bevc serves as data manager and analysis on a CDC funded, North Carolina Preparedness and Emergency Response Research Center (NCPERRC) examining accreditation systems and public health preparedness. Her work specializes in the application of social science research methods and social network analysis to improve interorganizational relationships and collaboration associated with preparedness, response, and mitigation. She completed her PhD in sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a MA in applied sociology from the University of Central Florida.
