Tammy Conforti is the HQ Levee Safety Program Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. She has worked for USACE for 21 years in geotechnical engineering and flood damage reduction planning. As Levee Safety Program Manager she works closely with the USACE National Flood Risk Management Program, specifically with the development of national levee-related policy. Conforti has a bachelor's in civil engineering from Virginia Tech and is a registered professional engineer.
