Lee Davis is a Senior Group Manager for Target Corporation and leads the Corporate Real Estate Building Operations Team. He has been part of the Target team for 30 years, with responsibilities within the Stores Leadership, Human Resources Leadership and Property Development organizations.
Throughout his career at Target, Davis has had the opportunity to lead the Distribution Center teams for Marshall Fields, Mervyn’s and Target.com, as well as teams in widespread geographic areas, from New Mexico to Maine to Florida, totaling 763 store locations. He currently oversees the maintenance and repair for the international and domestic headquarters portfolio and in total has had responsibility for over 110 million sq. ft. of Target retail and support facilities.
In 2004, Davis led a team that responded to Hurricanes Charley, Frances, Ivan, and Jeanne. This team was recognized for their cross-functional efforts with the Company’s highest award, the Speed is Life Cup. Since that time Lee has been part of Target’s Crisis Command framework, led by Target’s nationally recognized Corporate Command Center. Utilizing his leadership and collaboration skills with others in the company as well as with key vendors, Lee represents the Property Development department on the “Green Team,” a designated team of experts available and prepared to respond to emergencies 24/7, 365 days a year.
