Resilience Revisited
Mon. 4:00-5:30 p.m., Centennial F
The topic of resilience is of great interest to a much of the emergency management community. The 2012 Natural Hazards Workshop featured the the findings and recommendations of a landmark federal report entitled Disaster Resilience: A National Imperative. Since the report was issued, what has happened to advance the authors recommendations and what still needs to happen? Expert panel members will tackle that topic and talk about their experience as educators, consultants, and practitioners in disaster resilience.
