Jie-Ying Wu Jie-Ying Wu

Jie-Ying Wu is an assistant professor in the Department of Urban Planning and Disaster Management at Ming-Chuan University in Taiwan. His research interests focus on post-disaster reconstruction and community-based disaster management. Wu received his PhD from Texas A&M University and his master’s from National Taiwan University. Before joining Ming-Chuan University, Wu had been a research associate at the Hazard Reduction and Recovery Center at Texas A&M University. In the past few years, Wu has helped several communities in Taiwan to enhance their resilience for disasters through residents’ participation.
