Disciplinary Perspectives on Resilience

Resilience is a multi- and interdisciplinary concept, which makes it a useful concept for bringing together different approaches to disaster loss reduction. But to what extent do different disciplines agree on its conceptualization and measurement? What approaches do different disciplines take in terms of resilience definition, phenomena of interest, and units of analysis?
