Disasters, Deadlines and Resilience

Resilience is the shared work of individuals, organizations, and communities. A resilient news organization can promote other efforts—even in the midst of disaster. This panel will start by showing portions of a documentary about local newspaper response to the 2011 Joplin tornado and discuss a model of communication that promote resilience as applied to multiple stakeholders.
