Making a Quick Call: Special Topics from the NHC Quick Response Grant Program

In the last several years, the Natural Hazards Center Quick Response Grant Program has undergone quite a few improvements, one of which is the ability to issue special calls for grant proposals related to specific disasters. In this session, Quick Response grantees that have answered such calls—including calls for research on wildfires and Hurricane Sandy—will discuss their projects and the opportunities and challenges of entering the field at a moment's notice.
