National Academies Gulf Research Program

The National Academies Gulf Research Program is accepting applications for its Science Policy Fellowship. Fellows will spend a year on the staff of federal, state, local, or non-governmental environmental, natural resource, oil and gas, and public health agencies in the Gulf of Mexico region. Association of State Floodplain Managers Foundation

The Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) Foundation is now accepting abstracts for their annual student paper competition. Three semifinalists will be invited to present their papers at the ASFPM national conference with a travel stipend of up to $1,000.
