This collaborative workshop between Natural Hazards Engineering Research Infrastructure (NHERI) facilities at Lehigh University and the University of California San Diego, as well as the NHERI SimCenter, will enable participants to learn more about facility capabilities, network with colleagues in the natural hazard mitigation field, and to seek guidance on planned research proposals. Limited financial support for travel is available, with priority given to early career faculty and new users planning to submit National Science Foundation proposals employing the NHERI Experimental Facility or DesignSafe data.
