Alison Salloum is a professor at the School of Social Work at University of South Florida. She received her Master of social work and PhD from Tulane University. Salloum’s research focuses on the treatment of childhood trauma and loss, service delivery methods to address treatment barriers, and provider support. She is interested in examining psychosocial interventions for young children, children, adolescents, and families who have been exposed to traumatic events. Salloum is currently the principal investigator on a National Institute of Mental Health grant to examine how to optimize the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of stepped care treatment for children after trauma.
