Esther Oyedele is a doctoral candidate in geosciences at Virginia Tech (VT), where she specializes in groundwater hydrology and remote sensing. She conducts research in the Hydrologic Innovation and Remote Sensing Lab at VT, using satellite observations and data-driven methods to study groundwater depletion and water security. Oyedele is particularly interested in how these approaches can be used to better understand hydroclimate variability and support more equitable and inclusive water management. She is committed to making science more accessible, inclusive, and actionable through outreach and engagement.
