Julia Orduña

Julia Orduña, the southeast Texas regional director for Texas Housers, is based in Houston where she focuses on the creation and preservation of safe and dignified housing, the displacement of homeowners and renters, and housing issues due to climate change. Her work in the organization shines a light on current issues pertaining to disaster recovery and mitigation and ways to address the housing need in a more efficient and equitable manner. She holds a BS in biomedical sciences from Texas A&M University and a master's in public administration from Texas A&M International University.
