Lori Hodges

Larimer County Office of Emergency Management

Lori Hodges currently works as the director of emergency management for Larimer County in Northern Colorado. Her past experience includes eight years as a paramedic for Summit County, five years as a volunteer structural firefighter for Snake River Fire Rescue, and five years as a local emergency manager in Park County. Hodges has also worked at the state level for the Colorado Division of Emergency Management as a field manager, assisting local emergency managers with their plans and programs.

Lori is CEM-certified through the International Association of Emergency Managers and the State of Colorado, and is a graduate of the Executive Leaders program through the Naval Postgraduate School. Hodges’s education includes a master's degree in security studies from the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security, a master's degree in political science and public policy from University of Colorado, Denver, and a bachelor's degree in emergency management and planning. She received the Emergency Manager of the Year Award from the Colorado Emergency Management Association in 2008 and 2013, and received the Graduate Study Award from the University of Colorado and the Colorado Municipal League in 2007.
