Maya Martinko is an undergraduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder and is majoring in psychology with minors in business and sociology. She is interested in the impact of natural hazards on individuals, especially those of vulnerable populations. In addition to the Natural Hazards Center, she also works as a learning assistant in an undergraduate biological psychology course and is a research assistant in the CU stereotyping and prejudice (CUSP) lab where she is doing work towards a senior honors thesis about implicit racial bias.
