Seth Guikema

Seth Guikema is a full Professor at Industrial and Operations Engineering Department in University of Michigan. He joined the University on 2015 as an Associate Professor and later on 2019 became a full professor. He was the graduate program chair of the department from 2017 to 2019. Dr. Guikema completed his Doctor of Philosophy from Department of Management Science & Engineering, Stanford University in 2003. His area of research was on Engineering Risk and Decision Analysis. Later he did his post-doctoral from Cornell University, school of civil and environmental engineering. He is in the editorial board of some renowned journals. He has been elected as the president at the society of risk analysis in 2020.
