Shawhin Roudbari

Shawhin Roudbari a faculty member at the Program in Environmental Design (ENVD) at the University of Colorado Boulder. He studies and teaches about ways designers organize to address social problems. Roudbari's work bridges studies of social movements and race with architectural theory. His research contributes to theories and practices of contentious politics and employs ethnographic and speculative design methods. Roudbari is a founding member of the DissentXDesign research collective, which publishes work in architectural, sociological, and interdisciplinary journals. He also organizes with Dark Matter University.
