Stella Connaughton is currently a Master of regional planning student at Cornell University, where she studies transportation planning and policy. Her current research focuses on transport affordability and debt in the USA, understanding burdened car ownership in Canada, and how residential parking costs affect housing choice in California. She is also interested in transportation governance and the information ecosystems in which transportation-related decisions are made, at both the institutional and individual level. Stella received her undergraduate degree in public policy and history from the University of Virginia.
