Windya Welideniya

Windya Welideniya is a second-year Master of Urban Planning graduate student from Sri Lanka. She earned her bachelor’s degree in real estate management and valuation and a master’s in town and country planning from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Welideniya was a planner for the Urban Development Authority in Sri Lanka and was a member of the Institute of Town Planners Sri Lanka. After immigrating to Utah, U.S., in 2018, she interned with Herriman City, gaining valuable experience. Welideniya is a graduate assistant and active member of the Student Planners Association, passionate about community, housing, environmental, and transportation planning.
