Lessons Lost Following Catastrophic Events

Current efforts to capture lessons learned following catastrophic events are routinely hampered by human, organizational and political factors that can be difficult to overcome. This panel aims to raise awareness of these critical issues through interactive discussion and by soliciting forward-looking ideas on how to raise standards of practice related to capturing lessons learned within the Emergency Management community and how Colorado could potentially serve as a Pilot site for this effort.
