This Year in Hazards Mitigation and Climate Adaptation Law

This panel will survey legal aspects of hazard mitigation and climate adaptation. Topics include the Homeowners Flood Insurance Affordability Act, improvements to the National Flood Insurance Program, and U.S. Supreme Court decisions and their impacts on mitigation, climate adaptation, and wetlands protection. Noteworthy cases, the American Bar Association's Resilience Initiative and audience-directed topics will also be discussed.
