Tornado Warnings: Is Less (Time) More?

For sixty years, the need to give the public more time between issuing tornado warnings and a storm's arrival has been considered axiomatic. More lead time is the rationale for the Warn-on-Forecast program. But, is more lead time where research meteorologists should be focusing? Would resources be better spent keeping lead time at current levels and making warnings more accurate? Social scientists and meteorologists weigh in on this important issue.
