Emily Himmelstoss is the acting program coordinator of the Coastal and Marine Hazards and Resources Program at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). With more than 23 years of experience, she works to connect rigorous coastal and marine science with the communities and decisions that depend on it, ensuring the USGS delivers actionable science in support of coastal resilience, public safety and informed resource management.
