Kathleen Lynch

Kathleen (Katie) holds a PhD in social and behavioral sciences from New York University School of Public Health. Her research focuses on the health impacts of recurrent exposure climate hazards during critical and sensitive periods of the life course. Her dissertation research examined the effects of wildfire smoke exposure on acute and long-term mental health, hazard risk perception, and life course decision-making among youth and families in northern California.
