Lauren Bissonnette

Lauren Bissonnette is a resilience engagement specialist at Lynker, supporting National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Office for Coastal Management based in Newport, Rhode Island. In this role, she collaborates with partners and coastal practitioners nationwide to better understand the data, tool, and information needs of coastal communities to enhance resilience to coastal inundation. As a Community of Practice Coordinator, Bissonnette leads a network of adaptation and coastal flooding experts, facilitating information exchange to strengthen community resilience to inundation hazards. Bissonnette holds a master's in marine affairs from the University of Rhode Island, and a bachelor's in biology/environmental biology from the University of Vermont.
