Louisa Pitney

Louisa Pitney is a Knauss fellow with National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Ocean Service, focusing on coastal resilience and inundation. She holds a master's degree from Duke University, where she studied marine science and policy and led research on the social dynamics of shellfish aquaculture. Before graduate school, Pitney spent nearly a decade working for software technology start-ups, helping bring innovations to the energy, food, and healthcare sectors.
