Maggie Allen is the climate and health program policy manager for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Climate Program Office, where she supports the National Integrated Heat Health Information System and other efforts to build communities' resilience to extreme heat. Allen has a master’s degree in marine & environmental affairs from the University of Washington, and a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies-sociology from Whitman College. In her free time, Allen enjoys spending time in, under, or around water as much as possible, watching movies, and navigating life as a new mother to baby Felix.
