Mitchell Meads is an environmental management scientist whose research focuses on socio-ecological resilience, nature-based solutions to natural hazards, and the interactions of energy-water systems under future conditions. He has led interdisciplinary projects spanning coastal wetland protection, storm surge risk, land use land cover change analyses, and water demand modeling, often integrating geospatial analysis and machine learning. With experience across academia, nonprofits, and international fieldwork, Meads works to advance community-engaged approaches to hazard mitigation and long-term resilience with actionable research.
