Susanne Jul

Susanne Jul, PhD, founded Creative Crisis Leadership to make community disaster preparedness fun and engaging through game-based learning after 20 years as a Red Cross volunteer and a post-doc at the Pacific Disaster Center. Leveraging a background in design, User Experience research, and theater, she works with community partners, academic researchers, disaster professionals, and talented volunteers to create and evaluate learning experiences that captivate, inspire and empower, often finding partners through Creative Crisis Leadership's Conceptoria knowledge exchange program.

When not harnessed to Zoom, Jul can usually be found swimming or at Starbucks.
